About me
I’m a junior studying media advertising at Indiana University Bloomington, but what really drives me is the creative side of the field and how ideas turn into stories that people actually feel something from. I’ve always been interested in the way brands communicate emotion, not just information, and how creative choices like visuals, tone, and messaging can shape how people connect with a cause or a company.
In my role as Vice President of Communications for Indiana University Dance Marathon, I get to explore that interest in a real way. I manage marketing and PR while also focusing on how to creatively tell stories that reflect our mission and make people care. Whether it’s strengthening our relationship with Riley Hospital for Children, planning our annual gala, or building campaigns that feel authentic to our brand, I am constantly thinking about how creativity can make those efforts more meaningful and impactful.
Outside of IUDM, my experience in marketing, social media, and customer engagement has helped me build a strong foundation, but what excites me most is the creative process behind it all. I am drawn to brainstorming ideas, shaping narratives, and finding new ways to bring people into a story. For me, the creative field is about more than just promoting something. It is about creating moments and messages that stick with people and bring them together.
