My Resume
Indiana University Dance Marathon
Indiana University Dance Marathon is the second-largest student-run philanthropy in the world, which raises funds for Riley Hospital for Children, and it has been one of the most formative leadership and marketing experiences of my college career.
As Director of Alumni Relations, I managed a committee of 60 members and a seven-person chair team, leading twice-weekly meetings focused on fundraising strategy, participation, and long-term engagement. I oversaw communications for alumni giving levels, managed a committee budget, and helped maintain relationships with a database of more than 50,000 alumni. Through targeted outreach and engagement initiatives, I helped grow unique alumni donors by 18%, increase alumni donations by more than $10,000, and boost committee fundraising by 53%, contributing to a total committee raise of $72,000. I also personally fundraised over $13,000.
I now serve as Vice President of Communications, where I oversee all branding, public relations, marketing, special events, and hospital relations for the organization. I lead a team of five directors and support nearly 280 committee members, while managing brand strategy across social platforms with a combined audience of over 10,000 followers. In this role, I also sit on the Board of Managers as a voting member of the Indiana University Dance Marathon LLC, helping guide high-level organizational decisions.
This experience has strengthened my skills in leadership, brand management, integrated marketing, and mission-driven storytelling, while reinforcing the importance of community-centered communication.
Furniture Industries Inc.
At Furniture Industries, as a marketing intern I assisted with a full brand redesign, including the company logo, website, and social media presence. I created social media content, collaborated on visual storytelling, and produced a video used at industry trade shows. This role gave me hands-on experience with brand strategy, visual identity, and content creation in a professional setting.
TL Communications- The PR Drop
As an intern, I supported early brand development for The PR Drop by helping shape the brand vision, sourcing members, and assisting with product curation. This role allowed me to work in a fast-paced, concept-driven environment and collaborate on building a brand from the ground up.
